Nausheen Bari

Nausheen has always loved to make things with her hands; drawing, embroidery, stitching. She spent many years with textile in the interior design field. Clay found her a little later in life and brought her to study at Golden Bridge pottery, Pondicherry. Since then she has completely immersed in the beauty and magic of clay. Her approach to ceramic is an explorative and experiential one. She equally enjoys making extremely thin, fragile organic forms and large works. Since the creation of her studio, her work has become more functional , so she makes a lot of tableware.
