Pearl Academy Bangalore – Apr 2024

Pearl Academy Bangalore students joined us in Auroville in April 2024 for a deep dive into sustainable & conscious fashion. It was a pleasure hosting these talented young minds as they explored ethical practices and eco-friendly design.  

Sustainable fashion is not just about the final product, it is about the little accessories like buttons, the products it’s styled with and the raw materials. As an insight into this, students visited Upasana , crafted accessories out of coconut shells at EGAI and upcycled coffee pods at Upcycling Studio. 

It’s not all work though, students also did some farming at Buddha garden and experienced an authentic farm to plate breakfast.
