In this upcycling session, we focus on creatively reducing waste in our environment. We work with different waste materials to create beautiful and useful products. Waste paper is turned into paper sticks and reeds that are then used to weave baskets or bowls or turned into beautiful papier-mâché objects. The discarded coconut shells are turned into useful utensils or fascinating jewelry, helping one either to adorn their homes or themselves. Our inhouse designers transform waste into numerous objects, such as crocheting plastic into bags and hats, turning bottle caps into coasters, and forming bricks out of tetra packs that can be used to build furniture.
Apart from turning waste to wealth, these sessions also promote local wisdom and sustainability practices that we have lost over the years. These sessions will help you to look at waste differently and provide you with opportunities to upcycle to experience the joy of creating wealth from waste.
